Resolute offers an immediate response to those in need, ensuring that no call or message goes unanswered. Unlike other services, our support line is always available, providing crucial help when it is most needed.
Empathy from Lived Experience
Our support is led by advocates who have lived through similar experiences. This empathy is at the core of our service, ensuring that survivors feel understood, respected, and truly supported.
Introduction to Other Survivors
While some victims may be hesitant to join traditional group therapy, Resolute offers opportunities to meet others who understand their situation, fostering connections without the pressure to share their story in a group setting.
Guidance and Advocacy For Survivors
We work alongside survivors as they navigate the criminal justice system, offering guidance and support to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Although we do not provide legal advice, we assist survivors in understanding the processes and help them make informed decisions about their cases.
Coordination With Other Services
We liaise with other professionals, such as stalking advocates, police, and counseling services, to take the pressure off the victim and ensure they receive the comprehensive support they need. This coordination of services helps streamline the process for survivors, reducing the burden on them during an already challenging time.
Campaigns and Public Awareness
We lead campaigns to raise public awareness of domestic abuse and advocate for policy changes at the local, national, and international levels. By sharing their stories, survivors help shape best practices within the criminal justice system and beyond, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected.
